The Ryans were the honorary game captains and tossed the coin at kickoff.

Something unexpected and special-- when NU won, the students took the field to celebrate. NU
then opened the gates to the field, and many of the fans in both the east and west stands descended
to greet the players and students and to roam the field, taking in Dyche / Ryan one last time.
Players, family members, and fans posed for photos on the field as the shadows drew longer
and the stadium's end neared.
