The 2017 season was a fantastic, ten-win campaign capped by NU's second-straight bowl victory. However, it began shakily, with a bad loss to Duke and two Big Ten losses.

The Penn State game wasn't the best homecoming game NU ever had. However, the 31 to 7 loss gave the season perhaps its most critical moment: this game was the turnaround, NU's last loss of 2017. From there, the 'Cats rolled out eight straight wins.

Below are selected photos taken by Alaskanwildcat of the game, as well as a couple of photos from the Homecoming festivities.  As always, many thanks to Alaska for his great photos!
