Northwestern Home Game Programs Gallery
Part 4: 1935 through 1940
Posted 6/10/12; Updated 8/9/20
As
the Depression continued, Northwestern, like many schools at the time,
cut down on production costs by dropping most original artwork for its
program covers. Instead, NU used syndicated artwork, either a
painting or a photo of a football player.
One exception during the 1935 - 1940 period was early in 1938, when NU
produced a couple of original covers.
This gallery section is now complete.
