Northwestern Home Game Programs Gallery

Part 3: 1931 through 1934
Posted 5/27/12; Updated 8/9/20

After the great covers of 1926-1930, NU continued to feature original cover art through 1934.

The 1931 covers featured original drawings, mostly by Albert Moore and Brad Pendleton, and by 1932 the covers were a mix of drawings and game photos.

This gallery section is now complete.

This original drawing, featuring a sketch of the northwest tower and art deco lettering, epitomized the poster style that would become popular during the NRA (Nat'l Recovery Act).  It is the eighth of twenty CLASSIC NU PROGRAM COVERS.
