Mark Murphy has selected current linebackers coach Pat Fitzgerald as the new head football coach of the Northwestern Wildcats. Mr. Murphy announced his decision at a news conference July 7 in Evanston. Coach Fitzgerald succeeds Coach Randy Walker.
