As
large regions of the American south, southwest, and Pacific coast
re-enter lockdown and have their re-openings halted, I am increasingly
doubtful that we will see a college football season this fall. However,
the CFB conferences are trying to salvage the season, leaning toward
options to either truncate the season, postpone it, or limit distances
traveled by teams (which was, coincidentally, a serious concern during
the 1918 pandemic). From here on out, HTP will try to track the status
of each of the college football conferences.
